iGEN Technologies is a technology company whose vision is to provide energy freedom from expensive utility bills and centralized utility grids.
iGEN will develop and deploy distributed heat and power generation technologies that are affordable, efficient and reliable to residential and commercial property owners.
At the core of each iGEN system is the vapour expansion system, which requires only one fuel input to generate useable heat and power. The iGEN system has black start capability and can operate independently of the electrical grid. The initial product being commercialized by iGEN is the i2 self-powered furnace for homes and small businesses. Future products to be offered by iGEN include self-powered air handlers, hydronic heaters and water heaters for commercial, agricultural and remote applications.

Team
Michael Chatzigrigoriou
Michael is co-founder and head of business development. He seeks out growth opportunities and nurtures relationships with channel partners. He has a degree in mechanical engineering and prior experience in the consulting and product sales field. In 2005, Michael started up a successful HVAC consulting company. 
Craig Pickering
Craig is partner and head of corporate strategy. His focus is on overseeing business activities and bringing products from concept to market. He has a MBA and has spent the past 30 years working in the mechanical contracting, controls and service industry. Craig is an active member of several industry associations. |
Patrick Lai
Patrick is co-founder and head of engineering. He drives product design and maintains company operations. As a mechanical engineer, his career was centered in the automotive, solar and consulting industry. Patrick made his first attempt as an entrepreneur in 2000 by selling and installing solar panels. 
Waleed Hisham
Waleed is a results oriented electro-mechanical engineer. His expertise is with the integration of the electronics and controls to the mechanical side of the product. He has prior design and analysis experience in the renewable energy and consulting industry. |
